This section will explain our photography services for bar/bat mitzvahs. We provide all types of photographic services, but we do specialize in bar/bat mitzvah coverages (I have twelve years experience in this type of photography).
This price and information guide will inform you of the variety of bar/bat mitzvah coverages we can offer you. All coverages, whether mini coverage or full coverage, will likely start at the temple for rehearsal. This portion of the coverage will normally include the rabbi, the bar/bat mitzvah boy/girl, and the immediate family. Some families also include the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins at this session. This portion of the coverage is customarily done on a weekday during the week, before the actual bar/bat mitzvah rehearsal, or sometimes this portion is done before the actual bar/bat mitzvah service on Saturday, depending on temple rules. Most of the time, we allow 1-2 hours for the rehearsal and pictures.
The second portion of the coverage will include the kiddish luncheon, if permitted at the temple. The third portion of the coverage will include the reception coverage. Normally, we try to schedule family photos about a half-hour to 45 minutes before the actual start of the reception. Normal reception coverage lasts 3-4 hours. Generally, anywhere from 200-280 photos are taken during the entire span of coverage. For the customer who would like to receive a finished leather album with their coverage, several full-coverage, complete packages are available.
